Maria Aragon was born ten years ago in Winnipeg, Canada. She loves Lady Gaga, so she took her keyboard and made a cover of ‘Born This way’, the new single of the singer. But the little girl had no idea that her cover would be a youtube sensation and Gaga herself would give her support.
In the Born this way cover video, you can see Maria singing as Lady Gaga, she has a great voice by the way, she is playing a keyboard and seems to be really happy and proud of her cover. Her video received a lot of visits since the first day and became a youtube sensation after Gaga herself tweeted about it to her fans and said she was so touched. Today, the clip has been seen by 7,692,930 viewers.
It started with Lady Gaga’s Tweet, “Can’t stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future.”
But Maria not only received Gaga’s help to promote her video, the 10 year-old girl from Winnipeg, Canada also received a phone call from her! Aragon explained she was so shocked and couldn’t believe it.
“It’s actually really just amazing,” Aragon told reporters at local FM station Hot 103 after the phone call. “I even cried over the conversation because I didn’t expect for Lady Gaga to talk to me … It was really overwhelming and crazy.”
The 10 year-old sensation said – during an interview with Winnipeg Press Free – she would love to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, according to a Tweet the comedian saw the video. We hope Maria can reach her dream.
