After an appearance for Vicky’s latest line of swimwear on Wednesday at Los Angeles’ Mondrian Hotel, the gorgeous Candice Swanepoel’s stick-like figure has created much buzz, some calling her frame “startlingly slim”. What do you think?
Just months ago, Secret’s angel was seen struttin’ her stuff for their Valentine’s Day campaign where she looked a bit more healthy. Tell me you like the curves ‘yall. It definitely beats skeletal and skin and bones. So what’s going on? It’s obvious that she has definitely lost some of her curvy figure, the frame that probably made her a knock out beauty queen amongst the other models!
I guess she is aware of her frailty. Even back in November during New York’s fashion week, Candice, who is only 22 years old, has shared that the problem itself is putting on and keeping on the weight. Sheesh, I really wish I had that problem. Due to her constant travel and tedious work, she says it’s hard to put muscle on, and she continuously drops weight because of her demanding body (a’hem, I mean job).
So what does this mean for Victoria’s Secret? The famous company who is known for their curvy angels, like Tyra Banks, Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Heidi Klum…will Swanepoel’s appearance change the way their customers view them? This again, has sparked some controversy about America’s ongoing struggle with eating disorders. Even experts are weighing in on the latest regarding how weight loss can impact the visual lives of their fan base.
