Singer Avril Lavigne will be launching her very own perfume line this summer. The name of her new scent is called Black Star. Previously announcing the news back in 2008 Avril Lavigne stated that she was:
“happy to be working with Procter and Gamble on releasing my first fragrance. Creating this fragrance is a fun process and I am looking forward to sharing it with everyone.”
“I wanted to make sure it was really me — me in a bottle. The inspiration [for the mirrored squares on the carton] came from my love of studded belts and studded bracelets.”
Avril Lavigne’s signature scent is a floral mix of pink hibiscus, black plum and dark chocolate. Her perfume line was developed with young teens in mind and is also affordable, only $22. Black Star will reportedly hit shelves this summer.
