When Lindsay Lohan was appointed as Artistic Advisor for Ungaro alongside designer Estrella Archs, everyone expected a total disaster and that’s what the Mean Girl gave at her Paris Fashion show debut. Lindsay Lohan’s Ungaro Fashion debut earned bad reviews including from the now-retired designer Emanuel Ungaro himself - who said he was furious about Lindsay’s designs for the spring/summer 2010 fashion brand collection and called Lohan’s fashion debut ‘a disaster’. But Believe it or Not Lindsay Lohan is still working in fashion, and just days after Ungaro slammed her fashion debut, Lohan said she and jeweler Pascal Mouawad were working together to design a jewelry line for Bebe, the ‘Labor Pains’ actress broke the news to Access at Pascal’s Nu Pop Movement launch Party on Thursday. Pascal Mouawad is the man behind Nicole Richie successful House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection.
[Jeweler] Pascal [Mouawad] and I are actually working together, we’re doing something with a friend who owns bebe. We’re doing a collection for them and we’re also going to be doing some other things.
A Pascal rep told Access on Friday that the new line has yet to be finalized.
UPDATE!!! Bad News for Lohan. It seems like Pascal Mouawad decided not to work with Lindsay after all.
Although he acknowledged discussions about launching a jewelry line with Lohan for Bebe did take place, he declared in an e-mail that Lohan’s revelation a collection was on its way is inaccurate. “This is not happening,” he said bluntly.
