Jennifer Lopez performed ‘Louboutins’ - the lead single of her upcoming album “Love ?” which is due out next year - for the first time at 2009 American Music Awards, with a boxing-theme choreography.

Wearing a boxing robe with the name Love? on the back, the singer walked to the stage by an entourage carrying a fake championship belt. At some point of her performance Jennifer climbed on to the back of a male dancer and jumped off, and she fell on her bottom, but Lopez was professional enough to quickly recover her composure. You can see the moment here!!. At the end of the song she changed her costume, her dancers helped her into a shiny gold mini dress.
During a post-AMAs interview Jennifer Lopez told Ryan Seacrest that the fall was not intentional and joked about it. Well, she got all the attention, good for her!!

“Did I trip a little bit?” she responded during a post-AMAs interview with the “American Idol” host on Monday. “Yeah, I meant to do that. That was part of the choreography,” she joked.

“The measure of things isn’t what happens when you fall, it’s how you recover when you fall,” she said.

“It was fun, it was really fun,” she said of her return to live performance. “It was nice to be back on stage and doing my thing.”

Jennifer Lopez was not the only singer to take a tumble at American Music Awards. Adam Lambert, the former American Idol star, also fell during his performance.
